Bioshock Infinite is the biggest disappointment I can recall in gaming.
I’ve tried to re-start it numerous times thinking ‘this will be the one where it clicks’. It hasn’t. No point in making your world pretty if you fail on basic design fundamentals.
In years to come I imagine we’ll discover just how held together with sellotape that game truly was.
This was before my world changed and I met a ginger.
Special editions of Game Of Thrones are due soon where they cut out all the walking. Each series now lasts 45 minutes.
I swapped both of my children for a camel and a Scalextric. The camel got loose and derailed a bus before going to jail. I won the 1999 Scalextric Championships with a yellow Lamborghini and copious amounts of skill.
As soon as those kids can walk, get them shimmying up chimneys. A lot of tears and tantrums subside when a child is made to work for the family.
The Bureau? I picked it up cheaply a few months back, but have yet to play it. I’ve heard decent things though.
Feels to cool to have always wanted to click with Monster Hunter, but never have. The online side of it is definitely the key – gaining access to better stuff far earlier – but to get so much value out of a purchase makes me very, very happy.
My GOTY for 2013 and i’m still loving it :)
Honestly, that’s missing a chunk of months back last Autumn – and in the great scheme of things i’ve barely scratched the surface of the blighter.
Yet at Xmas, when I was working daft hours, I’d find it really relaxing to hop online and hunt with other folks. Before I knew it I had a ton of stuff to make new armour and weapons, a good chunk of the game’s subtleties clicked and I became hooked. It’s carried on since then :)
This weekend I worked a fair bit, but most importantly managed to swizz past the 170 hour mark in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii-U – a game which has rapidly become one of my favourites ever.
Coffee is love <3
An amazing game, the design of which still moves me even now. The atmosphere instils so many moments where i’m holding my breath, else genuinely disturbed.
Ace to hear you’re cracking on, doing so well and evolving with the experience. Great read :)
He learned that from me. Bloody pretender.
The problem is tea. Tea will slowly kill you and you and erode the respect of everyone respectable. Even me.
Hope you feel better soon :)
It wouldn’t be the first time Doctor Who’s been influenced by Mass Effect.
I don’t keep up with the show particularly, but the specials I watched last year featured a score which ripped off ME2’s to a staggering degree.
