I’m trying to understand where you’re coming from— is it that everything must sell millions to be successful? I don’t think anyone doubts the niche of the Shield line of products. That’s why you see Nvidia representatives doing product videos on Newegg instead of huge budget commercials on TV like Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.
Exactly. I bought a GeForce 650 Ti that I otherwise would not have owned, probably would still be using my several years old Radeon HD 5700 to this day.
I played about 90% of Bioshock Infinite from the couch or bed thanks to my Nvidia Shield. It had nothing to do with not wanting to use my monitor or wanting to use a smaller screen. Like the other commenter said it was about where I was located— in both cases in the same space as my family or wife.
