Lifespan here doesn’t mean when it stops working, it means how long until you need to upgrade. I have PIII that still technically works, but I can say that it is far past the end of it’s useful life.

Ha, it probably is the first console launch for quite a few of these hate-spewing people can remember. How many years ago was ps3 and 360 launches?

I think the sheer size of the fans and box itself suggest it should be pretty quiet without any overheating issues. (They really don’t want to make that expensive mistake again.)
