The concept for the games as well as the art style was infinitely more interesting and compelling than the revamped title.

Imagine if they made a game without changing the art style or general “Pixar” quirkiness that the first Overstrike trailer was hinting at. Wouldn’t that be infinitely more interesting than generic grim dark military third person shooter that FUSE is now?

EA usually releases their games on a multitude of platforms (With the obvious exception of their Sims franchise).

I dislike how pointless bows are in Dark Souls other than PVE (and even then it’s tedious).

Insomniac is independent and owns the FUSE IP. They’re publishing it under EA Partners. Thing is despite all this EA can simply NOT publish the game if they so choose. I’m assuming they used this leverage (Change or you just wasted money because we’re not going to distribute it) to force a change.

Apparently EA did a focus group test, and the game was rebranded and changed.

It may be something to due with the number of people interesting in making video games being predominantly male.

In comparison to people who play games, which the number is a bit more even sided on the male to female ratio.
