So, a proprietary hard drive again? Fork over more money for an overpriced drive.

Wow, that’s a pretty racist thing to say.

1 replyAgreed. The term “game” is starting to fail the medium it represents. It implies triviality to the outsider; something to be done for abdication and not something to be engaged by and take value from. I don’t know of a term to replace it but we’ve got to come up with something lest we be relegated to a niche as “comics” are. If for nothing else than to be able to get others interested in a medium that can provide as many experiences as the others we already know and accept.

The scuttlebutt is that he owns the IP and Ubisoft owns the assets.

Generic, meaning not specific, as in broad; general.
Please, explain to me how this game feels generic. You play as a female protagonist, in future Neo Paris, reminiscent of Blade Runner, melee combat and no guns that we’ve seen so far, and you remix people’s memories. I really need to be told what’s generic about this amidst an industry annually manufacturing generic dreck?

1 replyOof, I don’t know how he keeps the lights on with pay like that. Must be tough to work paycheck to paycheck in this economy. Only $65 mil for a single family to get by on, pitiful.

Best mess-up ever. You pay for a crappy game and they instead give you the best game ever made (in my opinion). How could you be mad? They did you a favor.
