There is nothing to say about my self, only that I have opinions about video games and the thoughts behind the art itself.

Ah you see, this was made worse. If done incorrectly you make art worse.
What he should have remembered is what made the films good to begin with was the practical effects.
Now take a step back and think, what is common between these effects? They are CG, not Pratical effects. So they stand out way more and as a result end up looking ugly compared to the rest of the movie.
Now think if these effects were redone with Pratical effects and the edited into film? Might look a lot better and would flow with the look of the movie.
That’s what I mean by saying art is never complete, it’s only abandoned. If the changes are made correctly then you inprove a work of art. If you half ass it like Lucius did and mess up the air of a movie like he did then you fuck up the work of art.

I would agree, yet the whole time you have a adventure that some times does not go along with the Boys. There is room for more immersive story with being the new kid as it’s not just about the boys in the town.

I agree that the show is about seeing the world throgh the eyes of a elementary school boy.
Yet we see them in this game as a outsider wanting to be let in. Technically we are the new kid, and thus open to customization.
We are not the new adult in town, goddess forbid, we are a kid and as such there are several ways to see this town that’s in line with the lore and idea of the show. They only chose one and that is of a new kid… Not a ginger kid, not a Hispanic kid, not a black kid. Cartman never makes this point known even if you play as a ginger. So essence it’s not just not being able to play as a girl, it’s being able to play as any kid what so ever.
This idea of playing as a girl has been broght up before and all I did was think of the best way to play as a girl. I wish there was more with the race options as well in the game as well to keep with the lore.
No lore never hurts itself, as the humans behind them are flawed themselfs.

I am not mad that the option is not there to play as a girl, people have expressed there Desire for it and I simply came up with the most cost effective way to do so with as little change as possible. In the post I outline the few changes that happen in diolog only during the girls mission.
Lastly you can play as a ginger and Cartman won’t bat a eye at this even though he won’t let butters friend play and there’s a whole Ginger Faction. Technically there should be a DLC that fixes this as well.
Presently all I’m saying is yes it would be hard to be a girl in the all boys club and that is how it is in real life anyway.

That is one of my favs as well. My all time fav is the one with the goths and the Emos.
This is the internet, and I am glad we had a civil talk. It is good to know their are humans with level heads out there.
You have a great day as well Lepanto.

I never said that men were sexist. The people of South Park are far from it in my Opinion.
The point you bring up about raising kids to no have the Stereotypes of men and woman I agree with. That is one way to fix the lack of Female input in the work place.
Lastly never say its never your fault, we are all at fault.
I recommend looking at this woman from TED Talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lrdn4lazVBc

You do have a point, even when Kenny ‘Perma-Deathed’ they held a competition to see who would be the friend.
Does the game need it? I agree that it probably does not and there are woman who did grow up with the show and would like to play a girl instead of a boy.
In the end the post I made was to try and keep to south park LORE and allow woman who would like to play the game as a girl to do so.
There might never be a Official DLC but for those on PC’s have a cosmetic MOD that does add the ability to choose. I just wish it to the LORE of the game.
Here’s the like for that mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/southparkthestickoftruth/mods/3/?

As the post above states that, yes the girls are usually at odds with the boys and that there is a way of having the female character able to join it in much the same way girls who want to play with the guys have to, showing them they take no crap.
Cartman (as stated above) would at first be “Oh god dam it butters!why you bring this Ho!” after butters states that the new kid helped him out and he thinks that the new kid (the girl) would like to play. Cartman, being the Asshole that he is, says that she must fight Clyde with a puny wooden sword (or what ever class the player picks). After fighting Clyde, with some dialog changes, Cartmen says that maybe this girl might have what it takes.
There is more that I have stated above in my post, and it keeps with how boys would treat a girl coming into there mist. By Being very rude at first and after she shows that she is just as tough as the guys, gets accepted into the mist with welcomed arms. That’s what I experienced when I was a Kid.
Also Wendy in the beginning of the show was much more with the boys and was even Stan’s Bf for a time.

I’m glad that we agree on at least one thing,

I think it’s best to agree to disagree.
We are entering philosophy and the human condition. We could go on and on about this and still never reach a agreement.

Valid point. That is a very good argument you make.

There is male and female. Biologically their the only genders, all the other ‘genders’ are forms of the mind caused by imbalances of estrogen and testosterone in the human body.

I agree as well, and as for you’re excitement I’m thrilled that I have helped fuel it.

Well put. I agree with you, on several points. Honestly I would love to see a DLC that explores a girl protagonist.
I also agree that without a great story, a story is not a story. Yet with Skyrim the story was week, and it was a great game as most of the fun came from all the fun glitches and how fights played out.
Lastly I agree that if a game had Character creation I would like a female option, and I would like that female option well thought out.

The definition says otherwise, and there are only two genders in the mammal kingdom that I know of. Male and Female.

Depends on the game, is it story driven or user driven? South Park is Story Driven, yet there’s choice in the game that dictates how the game plays out (user driven). So do you think a gender option would hurt the game (or any game for the sake of argument) as a whole? If you do, please explain why.

To the statement that their is no “girl problem”, many people have stated that they would like the option (including my self) and thus calling it a problem.
Second, there is a male lead for Tomb Raider. While Indiana Jones usually stick to the big screen they are very similar. Only a few differences here and there to make them different. Even during the development for the first Tomb Raider they plan on a man first then felt they wanted to change it to a woman because their was to many Indiana Joneses.

You are a true Elf, you say both yes and no. I agree the show is mostly about little boys, and still there are a few girls that end up playing with the boys. I for one know of two people that hanged with the boys.

“Either everything’s okay to write about, or nothing is.” – South Park, cartoon wars pt. 2.
You made me remember the aliens probes, and yes I can see that would feel a lot different if a girl is on the table. Yet like Lara, the new kid fends of the attacker (in a funny way mind you). So in the end I would turn to the creators, and see how would they do it. How do you think they might have overcome this problem? I’m no expert, and yet many heads can make one.

No matter what they do it will be a massive amount of work, what I suggested is the most cost effective with keeping to the LORE of the world.
