Agreed, so hard. I have been saying for a while that, of the so-called “mainstream” gaming sites, Polygon seems to be the most retro-friendly to those of us with an active interest in the older titles.

For me, the weird thing is that some of the stuff Kollar seems to dislike in games is stuff I tend to love. Every reviewer is different, and even their “negative” citations can lend weight to an individual opinion that will differ. Meh!
