Wow, I was not expecting to see them support the game with new content for a whole year after the original came out. Kind of makes me wish I held back on rebuying the Gold Edition, but it is great to see Guacamelee reach the new consoles this early.
By the way, along with some details on gameplay features in the post itself, some folks at DrinkBox have been answering questions on the Playstation Blog. For the most part, they address how this version may/may not affect those who own any current editions, including save files, Vita support and discounts: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/03/06/guacamelee-super-turbo-championship-edition-coming-to-ps4-2/
Also, I’m pretty sure I’ll never get sick of the soundtrack.
I’ve had this bug appear for me as well on a number of my past visits. I found the text would change colors back to black when I inspected the code to see what was wrong. Same setup too: Chrome on Mac.
I really enjoyed this new format, and the trade-off of frequency for content feels worth it. It’s apparent that this format is more enjoyable for you guys as well (which translated to a more balanced listening experience for myself personally), so all the more power to you. Thanks for bringing the show back!
