Well, he’s probably right. To think that violent films and video games don’t effect people is a little silly. Now, that’s not to say everyone who plays violent video games becomes a violent person, but people definitely become desensitised to violence, less empathetic and all that stuff.

Now, whether being desensitised to violence and human suffering is a negative thing will be a matter of opinion and I’m sure there are people out there who play violent games all the time and don’t think it has effected them…
