A spotlight in darkness when you are trying to sleep. A man for Four Seasons. Student.
Idk. Some of it is puritanism and some of progressivism when approaching differing cultural or traditional norms. People either saying “That’s not how we used to do it” OR “That’s not how we do it anymore”
American Sitcoms are kind of like our style of “haram games”, where floating intense relationships with many people is like the norm and comic and mostly unjudged
But the courting process is almost exactly the same for all spouses in Fable. Nor are they really seeking you out
Cool to have met you on Sunday morning, Dave.
Will there be a sweet Darkest Dungeon write-up in the near future? I never got a chance to see it.
“Rise, my brothers! Cast down the Elites!”
Also ignore the grammar terribleness in this. Written while packing
I would say that I would love PAX to be a safe and open and inviting place for all because that has what it has been for me. A chance to see new games, explore ideas, and meet now people. Also, it has become my annual opportunity to meet up with college and childhood friends who have mood away.
I was someone who briefly followed Penny Arcade, but drifted away from them years before most of this controversy emerged. I don’t think I’ve said the name “Penny Arcade” aloud in years. But boy, do I talk about how I love attending PAX East.
This might be a lazy or selfish thing to say, but I feel like there is enough of the greater PAX and/or PAX East community who does not inherently support or care about supporting the controversial opinions of the heads of PA. That we are a powerful enough force to push inclusiveness in those halls and panel rooms and throughout that area of South Boston for that April weekend. I just wish boycotting the actions of the writers of PA could be separate from boycotting the event itself.
Yep @Matt_Mitchell45 Used to be Sen0r Awes0me as well, but then that damn professional world scared me off
Also, I found a pretty beat up Polygon logo button and I will try to be repping that around PAX. If you see that combined with someone vaguely looking like my profile picture, feel free to approach with any questions about Boston, PAX East, or general beauty tips!
I have two PAX East suggestions to make. I don’t know if we have a “GOING TO PAX EAST” Forum Post or what not. One of these I really should be keeping a SECRET, but you guys all seem rad and I should meet people and spread love and what not.
1. The South Station Food Court is like a 15-20 minute walk from the BCEC and they have much more reasonably-priced and diverse options than the convention food.
2. If you are driving into Boston for PAX East, there is a parking garage next to Northeastern University and an Orange Line MBTA stop called the Renaissance Garage that charges a $6 Weekend guest rate from 6:00pm-Friday until 12:00am/Midnight-Monday morning. That’s where I’ll be storing mine
Very excited to have some fun scavenger and community good times _
