My name is Jason, but people seem to like calling me Thor. Something to do with being tall, bearded, and of Scandinavian descent. It helps that I like the Marvel character as well. I've been gaming forever so I've played from the worst to the best and have developed a pretty eclectic taste and my own ideas on design. I'd love to translate this into development one day but right now I'm pursuing something in music so maybe it will cross paths with me. Speaking of that, next to video games music is my biggest passion. I can talk for days about music and artists I enjoy and look up to. I also tend to make goofy and inappropriate gamertags so Xbox Live keeps making me change them. I am still waiting for the day I find one that "fits" well enough to eschew the childish names. Until that day, TheBukkaKing it is.
I haven’t actually read the article but the title makes me think “Well duh, our brains designed the engines simulating all of that.”
Well considering they aren’t part of EA even if EA is the one who publishes for them…
Point being? The 360 was a lost cause in Japan as well. Japan, in terms of sales, really isn’t that beefy.
It’s called business. The same thing that made Sony ride the Xbox One hate-train for months is the same thing that should have made them plan ahead enough to launch in Europe and have enough for Black Friday.
You seem to forget that regardless of how many territories the One is available, if there aren’t any more consoles in circulation then they can’t be sold. X units are still X units regardless of how thinly they are spread out.
Highly doubtful. Sony would know of Black Friday and how huge it would be for pushing consoles. I would think they’d have planned to account for high demand.
This. I doubt it was a widespread thing because I never heard about it (I’ve personally been lucky with console issues for the most part) but my brother’s PS3 sounded like it took a jackhammer to his copy of Bad Company 2 and when he ejected it (yes it actually ejected) it looked like it was about 5 seconds from shattering into pieces. So I can imagine the pain of having something like this happen. Hopefully it’s not wide-spread.
More pointless exclusive content going back and forth. This crap is really starting to give me a headache.
I’d hardly call it an alias so much as a translation. Järvi actually means lake.
Sami = Sam
Järvi = Lake.
This. Simulated surround will never be the real thing. 2 speakers. Always stereo no matter the EQ and panning magic they try to pull off.
