I agree. To view an achievement you just unlocked, you must hold down the Xbox button, which then takes you out of the game. I feel the same way for joining/creating parties. Little things like these make the entire flow feel less impressive.
Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love the new UI, but I’m anxiously awaiting an update to address the little things.
Terrific! Thank you! With limited games available, there haven’t been many choices for my girlfriend and I to play together.Luckily, this game might help to fill that need.
Agreed! It seems people forget that it is an OPTION ,a CHOICE, to purchase additional items. The game allows you to progress normally. In addition, I’ve been playing through Forza 5 and have enjoyed hours of progression without ever requiring a micro-transaction.
Don’t get frustrated with an option that is available to other users. You don’t have to partake in any additional purchases. For $20, this game seems to have shaped up nicely.
Does this game support any local multiplayer? Thank you for any answers!
- Spartan FS
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Battlefield 4
- Madden 25
- Dead Rising 3
- Forza 5
I look forward to some online gaming with everybody!
That white color looks way too amazing to keep from the public. Give it some time, and Microsoft will start to release colored consoles and controllers to us. In the meantime, check out evilcontrollers.com
Where have you seen this? Can you please provide a link?
I was expecting a score of at least 7. The game does look absolutely stunning, and I’m sure it’ll look even better on my living room TV. I love the Roman era, so this game still might warrant a purchase from me. It’ll be a nice switch from slaying thousands of zombies and scoring headshots in other games.
This deal seems to be the best so far. The only unfortunate part is how 3 of the 4 games I plan on buying don’t release until tomorrow so I can’t play them tonight, but obviously this is a small complaint. You can bet I’ll be there tomorrow to get my hands on some new Xbox One games.
I agree these are not the most eye-appealing technical achievements thus far. Anybody who states otherwise is probably attempting to justify the ghastly appearance.
However, there is so much more to offer. It may be best not to judge this book, although it’s a fat black box with resemblance to 90’s tech, by it’s cover.
Forza 5 looks incredible, but any word of split-screen multiplayer? This game is pretty much my last hope (besides Ghosts) to play alongside a friend for some good ol’ fashioned local fun.
No local multiplayer in a racing game seems like an insult. Racing against your buddies on the same couch is one of gaming’s best pastimes. This missing feature alone brings down the whole experience for my household. The other aspects, as mentioned in this review, seem to be fitting for most people.
Forza 5 will have split-screen, right?
Good review with about the score I expected of DR3.
I see the great potential of online co-op, but does it support any kind of local mulitplayer? I understand the technical difficulties of processing twice the amount of zombies on screen, but I still have a little hope of any supported local multiplayer.
ei8htbit, thanks for the great info! Ryse seems to be shaping into a great launch game with some fun gameplay mechanics. However, I’m still undecided between Ryse and DR3. Hopefully the reviews will offer assistance soon.
Have they stated a launch window for this game and the new Mario Kart?
Splitscreen is exactly what I’m looking for also in my new Xbox One! Besides Forza 5 and any sports titles, does anybody know of any other launch titles with local multiplayer?
So far I can really only think of COD5 and Halo: Spartan Assualt.
“Hell-oh”, “hall-oh”, and “hale-oh” all seem to be distinctive enough. Kinect’s power is labeled to identify such differences. We’ll soon be able to see for ourselves. 2 weeks away.
I’m still stuck between this game and DR3. Both seem to be good for each particular experience. Like others have stated, a couple of reviews are in need before laying down $60.
Agreed! During it’s legacy, Crimson Skies was one of the best experiences on XBL! An exclusive sequel on Xbox One would certainly have me all giddy inside.
