1 replyWhich game is this?

The key games for me were Portal 1 & 2, LBP 1 & 2, Halo 3, Reach, Mass Effect, Uncharted 2, 3D Dot Game Heroes… there was a big disconnect this gen, a few very good games, surrounded by mediocrity. Far more good games last gen.

1 replyI’m mainly excited because its a new unique IP. Games like that are what makes me a Sony fan.

1 replyKnack is the only exclusive that interests me right now. We should see most of their lineup though.

Yeah, it was a different director.

1 replyI’m so excited for the Sony presser. PS4 reveal AND Destiny reveal in one show? Truly, Greatness Awaits! ;)

1 replyLike Batman Forever and Batman and Robin…

Correct.
I’d have trouble saying which Bungie Halo game is the best. Soundtrackwise, though, Reach wins. Marty keeps getting better every time…

Seller said it was red-ringed. Got it to come on with some fiddling, let it run for four hours, installed an RRoD kit. Been fine ever since, and runs really cool with the expensive thermal paste I used.

2 repliesHalo without Bungie is like The Dark Knight films without Christopher Nolan…

1 replyI wouldn’t. I bought mine because it was $15…thats not a typo.

Seriously, dropping $60 on a game is just out of the question anymore. The 3DS game price points help, but I just feel its too risky to spend $60 and end up not liking it…I did that a lot in the past. And too many companies dont do demos anymore.
Unless its just a title that is a ‘must have’. Destiny is the first and only pre-order I have for 2013 (assuming it comes out this year).

1 replyProbably $199 for HDD versions, same with PS3. 360 will have a Halo 4/Forza Horizon bundle.

Recommended (1)Cost and color were the main reasons I got the standard 3DS.

1 replyWell, given my budget, there may not be a game system inbound this year. My car decided she needed some love and attention, and I’ve had to spend almost $250 in the last week (just in parts-I do all my own labor). Still have two semesters tuition to pay. Guess it’s 2014 for me. Oh well. Probably better anyway, since there won’t be too many games at launch. Plus…hardware issues.
Still, it’s not like the year for the PS3 and 3DS will be bad. Gamefly will save my bacon, I think.

I’ve been playing a lot of Reach MP lately. Even after hours, the air coming out is still cool.
But this is my fourth 360. This one was supposedly red-ringed, so I paid $15 for it. Then it turned out to be fine, really. Just left it on for a few hours and installed a ‘fix’ kit and it’s worked problem-free ever since.

1 replyI have the first game on my Xperia Play. It’s not that good. Pales in quality compared to Jak and Daxter and Uncharted.

1 replyNo, so far my 360 has been super reliable. Of course, it was only used to play a few sports games from 2006-2012 before I bought it, so that might account for some of it. Also, once I installed the RROD kit with high-end thermal paste and an Intercooler TS, that thing runs cool!

1 replyOoh…you’re reminding me of how bad MS hardware is. It’s not just the Xbox.
I don’t think I’ll buy one new, that’s for sure. And it might be five years in. Or I’ll get a super warranty on it…

Is that actually still being made?
