This can be a good thing…or a bad thing. Flexible pricing means hopefully not all games will cost as much as 60$, hope it is not more than that.
Microsoft’s new Xbox is called Xbox One (it will surely cause confusion among casual buyers for going to something called ‘1’ from 360). How does it look like…I don’t know, but it looks like a huge bulky, 80’s VCR, I never saw the design coming considering how beautiful xbox 360 looks.
The conference was boring and as a gamer it was horrible. I know they probably saving the games for the E3 (which sony is doing as well), but they should have shown some actual gameplay on stage.
I really started to lacked confidence on Microsoft’s vision from 2nd half of 360’s life, but now… I almost completely lost it. Unless they come strong and show a ton of great games, but…here is the deal, Sony will do the same and they have an army of studios just waiting to be sent in the console battlefield.
Microsoft, you really REALLY need to step up this E3.
We haven’t seen much of it, but it sounds very generic and boring to me.
Shaun is right, you don’t have to wait for the game to finish installing or downloading updates.
@Shuan I remember reading from the SCEW studios president that they know how much important game sharing is among us and going along with their gamer centric focus, they aren’t doing anything to hammer this. Anyways this E3, hopefully….every question will be answered.
The console and the kinect are huge enough, and external HDD will take even more space. Why does Microsoft go with proprietary HDD? HDD damage is very common and in an event it happens, the entire console will break down. On the PS3 and PC you just replace this part.
Weren’t you paying attention, in several interviews it was confirmed PS4 does not require to be always online and doesn’t blocked used games.
I have a feeling Microsoft is changing things on the fly, they themselves aren’t sure about a ton of things.
bhahahaha talk about back fire!
Same theory, those titles are designed to run on a different architecture, so no. Unless it can emulate, still emulation costs lots of processing power and not 100% accurate.
The demo looked horrible to me in everyway
Microsoft will show their console, otherwise they look stupid because major nelson guy tried to make fun of this fact.
I’m really looking forward to the detective scenes the most, really hope it is as deep as the early demos are promising.
Wish there were ME themed levels.
Since it is pre-order dlc, i bet deathstroke dlc won’t be much, probably a challenge room character.
DeathStroke is a DC villain and not exclusive to Batman. Who cares if a villain is called Pirate Pants as long as he is a good villain.
Where I live, we don’t get to pre-order and yet we pay more than 60$ for new games. It is so unfair…
Whatever the new engine is, rest assured they will be using it for the next 6-7 years
@Alien No way, Nintendo and their games are not for me.
Yeah you guys do that, why bother making great single player games?
@JohnnyMeh interesting silver lining there…
