While he (or rather Nintendo) may be supportive of used games, it doesn’t wash the dick-ish stench of them snatching whatever profits “Let’s Play” creators make from YouTube videos.

I point this out only to remind people that Nintendo does shitty moves too, just because they don’t have the crap MS is going through with UsedGate, don’t make their suits clean either.

No offense to you personally, but I am sick of people using the “use your mobile” as an acceptable workaround. This is not a $99 roku box, but rather a $500 + for games and yearly fees console. Offline play should be without bullshit strings attached.

Microsoft created a digital library, and has a FULL database of what people purchased. If they want to get the people to get over backwards compatibility, then the best compensation is to migrate their existing digital content to the new system.

I am pretty curious as to how much of a crowd would be there in attendance at the Ouya event. You have a major conference going on at the same time, where people who are not part of the press can only watch via various media streams that will be covering it. If not all, a pretty good chunk of dedicated Gamer fans would be watching the event.
Your major consoles is gonna hog the spotlight on Day 1 and Major Publishers/Developers on Day 2.
I think their best chance of getting major exposure would probably be on Day 3.
