It’s like the King going to the court wizards, or the oracle to the Ancient Greeks.

LOL. That’s true but they can instead tax the ammunition that civilians buy, by the bullet at high margins. If the bullets are expensive most people would think twice about using them needlessly. Then you are basically left with the mentally unstable and incredibly rich criminals.

Not when it could get in the way of the second. It is always God first, then guns, and then everything else.

$10 tax per bullet makes more sense. For government use, law enforcement and military obviously they don’t have to pay the tax for that but civilians who don’t really need that many bullets why the hell not.

Violent media tax = Funds for the next US war against (insert country here). Lets face it, it is basically funding the government that has been violently involved in literally every major war these last two centuries.

Comment

That’s okay (server), it is only really important for WvW but if you can spare the transfer fees then by all means.

It’s people like these that make me resent having Chinese ancestors.

They will probably get away with it like others in the past. If it stays in China its pretty much out of reach.

LOL. Gotta be the best theory I’ve read explaining why this is.

Most people in GW2 are really friendly though, you can just ask in map chat (/m) if you need any help with anything or information. It’s also great that Polygon continues to push GW2 content news out despite not having that big of a player base in here.

If you need an active guild you can join me (xenosilence.3728 ) or try to contact Reddit’s guild on their forums.
My guild is smaller and we do all sorts of content. Reddit’s guild is big, and you certainly won’t have a hard time finding people to play with.

Some of us yes but not in the same guild.

My username is: xenosilence.3728

Send me a message and I can invite you to my guild, or check out the main Polyknights post, you might still be able to find Lynith or Ari playing. I am usually playing a bit everyday, and my guild has a small but active pool of people whom you can play group content with.

Our primary server is Sanctum of Rall but that only matters if you wan’t to do WvW with us. We primarily do pve content, like doing speed runs of the daily achievements to dungeons. When we aren’t doing that, we do jumping puzzles, meta events (world bosses, dragons), and world vs world.

Actually you don’t really need to do content above your level. Just do content as you go and what content you feel like doing and you’ll level up pretty quickly and roughly the same amount of time.

If you want to level up really fast it can be done by either doing dungeon explorable mode, which gives 70% of the exp required for the next level on top of what you get for killing things in it – or – if you have around 80 gold to spend you can level up entirely by doing all the crafting.

However, what makes GW2 really stand out is levelling up is only a minor content gate. It is simple more fun to just play the content around you, get a taste for everything and later when you do hit max level you’ll have a better idea of what kind of content is most fun for you — rather than simple what is more efficient.

Just go through it naturally and enjoy the content as you go, there is really no reason to rush to 80 because there isn’t much of a difference between lvl30 (first dungeon) content and lvl80 content. If you rush it you’ll quickly find that there isn’t much to do other than farm mats for a legendary weapon and do the same dungeons over and over again.
