Traded to Kris Humphries' entourage...
Really looking forward to the PS4 release of this game. I’ve been climbing my way through the minors in the Braves organization as a starting pitcher. Dominated AA but have had some rough outings in AAA.
Looking forward to cloud saves being able to continue my RTTS at home and on the road, literally.
Worth mentioning that the Mac version is ONLY for PowerPC computers, and is also damn near impossible to find.
I was scrolling and hoping that I wasn’t the only one that shared the same sentiment. After seeing my brother’s life as a single dad, and watching/seeing other people’s lives change for the better for them, I have come to the understanding that I am not of a mindset nor a disposition to give up my time to myself or what I can admit is a certain degree of selfishness now, or possibly ever.
I commend those that are able to do all of this, but my career and my desire to not be beholden to anyone but myself are what are important to me.
Great article, though!
Yeah, as someone else said, The Show is a PlayStation exclusive. It will never come to the Xbox.
MLB The Show definitely does not lack for gameplay. It is an excellent game.
I know what you mean, though — all of EA Sports’ games have gameplay oddities or outright bad gameplay. I haven’t played or bought Madden in almost a decade because of the bad gameplay.
I really like this game. My population isn’t rising, but I have an abundance of food and firewood and the foresters lodge keep the seedlings planted so I haven’t even come close to running out of wood.
A really fun game. I’m in the process now of planning some “suburbs” for homes. The first building I built was the boarding house to keep everyone warm during the first winter.
Pretty impressive work.
Glad to see you writing here, Owen. I’ve been needing my well-written sports gaming fix.
Definitely looking forward to picking up The Show…I wish SCE San Diego could get their hands on the NFL license. It would be amazing to see what these guys could do with football or even basketball.
I’m also a Braves fan and was sad to see the Sunday cream uniform didn’t make it in.
I think there is something to be said here for eventually moving full time to the PlayStation 4 instead of developing cross-generation, but I don’t want to incite any rage over it. Bottom line, for me at least, is that I think we’ll see more detail and more options as we move away from last-generation consoles like PS3 and others.
