Not just catalog but long-term compatibility. As someone who left PC gaming for the last generation of consoles, I’ve returned primarily because I don’t think tying games to a specific piece of hardware is a healthy, long-term plan for gaming as an art form. My new PC runs games I bought in high school 20 years ago. My Xbox One and PS4 don’t run games I bought a month ago. That’s insane to me.
Sony Playstation 4 was launched in North America today. Unfortunately the official Sony BD Remote which operated with the Playstation 3 does not currently work on the Playstation 4 and therefore the Harmony Hub that ships with Harmony Ultimate and Harmony Smart Control are also not compatible.
We are as excited as you are about complete home control and will continue to look for other ways to control this game console. This may require a software update from Harmony in 2014, a software update from Sony to enable Bluetooth controllers, or possibly both.
Probably not. Not a strong single-player campaign, but worth FINDING anyone to play local multi with.
