Natural Selection 2, the upcoming real-time strategy/first-person shooter hybrid title from Unknown Worlds Entertainment, is scheduled to release to PC on October 31st, the developer announced today.
"Two factors have led us to this day," reads a post on the official developer website. "The first is the drive, skill, determination and dedication of the founders of Unknown Worlds. An entire company was built around this game. The second is the incredible commitment and support of the Natural Selection community. You funded it, you tested it, you submitted content, fixes and ideas to it, now you are telling the world about it."
The original Natural Selection began life as a mod for Half-life in 2002. Take a look at our recent interview with designer Charlie Cleveland regarding the journey that took him from the original title to its sequel.
