A large update to the PlayStation Store today adds pre-orders for Assassin's Creed 3, two full day-one downloadable titles, and 40 PSOne Classics compatible with the PlayStation Vita.
Many of the newly-added PSOne Classics, including Legend of Mana and Chrono Cross, did not work with the transfer workaround detailed by industrious Vita owners frustrated at the small number of Classics available for Vita in North America:

- Darkstalkers
- Darkstalkers 3
- Dino Crisis
- Dino Crisis 2
- Fighting Force
- Final Fantast VI
- Final Fantasy IX
- Final Fantasy Origins
- Final Fantasy Tactics
- Final Fantasy VIII
- Gex
- Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko
- Legend of Mana
- Mega Man 3
- Mega Man
- Mega Man 2
- Mega Man 4
- Parasite Eve
- Parasite Eve II
- Pocket Fighter
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
- Resident Evil Director's Cut
- Spec Ops: Airborne Commando
- Spec Ops: Covert Assault
- Spec Ops: Ranger Elite
- Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol
- Street Fighter Alpha

- Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Threads of Fate
- Tomb Raider 2
- Tomb Raider III
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
- Vagrant Story

Day-one downloads include Resident Evil 6 and NBA 2K13. Assassin's Creed 3 is also up for pre-order solo or in one of two bundles: the Assassin's Creed 3 Gold Edition including a Season Pass, or in a digital two-pack with Vita title Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation.
