The World Ends With You: Live Remix and Final Fantasy X GREE, social games on the GREE platform, were announced today at a joint press conference with the company and publisher Square Enix, reports Famitsu.
Live Remix is a touch-controlled title featuring music from the previous game in the series. The iOS port of The World Ends With You that was released earlier this year included an image teasing a sequel, but it's unclear if Live Remix is that sequel.
Final Fantasy X GREE (working title) pulls from numerous entries in the long-running Japanese role-playing franchise for a card-battle game that features a version of the series' Active Time Battle system.
The companies also announced that they are working on two other games, Circle of Mana Seiken Densetsu and Chocobo no Chocotto Nouen, but provided no further details.
Both The World Ends With You: Live Remix and Final Fantasy X GREE are set for release on iOS and Android this winter in Japan. There's no word yet on whether the games will come to the States; we've reached out to Square Enix to find out, and will update this article with any information we receive.
