Ubisoft released a new video today that gives a behind the scenes look at a recent closed beta for Anno Online, the upcoming free-to-play city building game built for browsers by Blue Byte.
At about five minutes into the video, a developer shows the Adobe Flash-based game running natively in Google Chrome. He gives a tour of the city he's built, with an eye toward Anno Online's simplified click-to-build interface. The game's German closed beta went live recently, and the developer will bring the beta to other regions "as soon as possible."
The video's first few minutes show a Halloween event for The Settlers Online, which centers around collecting pumpkins for currency. The developers of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online give a brief tour of clans and new Halloween-based weapons.
