Natural Selection 2, a real-time strategy, first-person shooter from Unknown Worlds will launch today, a day earlier than scheduled.

According to Shacknews, the game was initially set to launch on Oct. 31, exactly 10 years after the Natural Selection mod for Half-Life released. Instead, it will now release today at 8 p.m. ET and at midnight in the UK.

Natural Selection 2 is a multiplayer shooter in which players side with marine Frontiersmen or the alien Kharaa. The game will be available for PC through Steam and comes in a $24.99 regular or $39.99 Digital Deluxe edition, which includes the official soundtrack, digital art book, exclusive wallpapers and more. Those who pre-ordered the game will recieve the Deluxe edition automatically.
