The latest World of Tanks update will add a British line of armored vehicles to the game along with a national tech tree that contains 22 models from the Royal Tank Corps across three tank classes.
A combination of light, medium and heavy vehicles will be added to the game in update 8.1, as well as an overhaul of the rendering system for the following battle arenas: Province, Dragon Ridge, El Halluf and Abbey.
The update will also introduce new game mechanics like the ability to purchase premium rounds using credits in addition to the current gold variant, the ability for a platoon creator to exclude game modes for the platoon and a minor adjustment in the rate the majority of in-game tanks burn down.

The server will be down for maintenance for approximately six hours from 4 a.m. ET Nov. 1 while the update is implemented.
