Assassin's Creed 3 trailer chronicles a hero's journey

New, comments

Connor, the half-British, half-Native American protagonist in Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed 3, is the star of a new trailer released today exploring the hero's journey.

The video follows Connor from his youth through his Assassin training and into the American Revolution where he stands aside George Washington. You'll also catch glimpses of the game's naval combat sequences, the revamped free running system that allows Connor to navigate treetops, and the omnipresent tension of a man whose national allegiances are as complicated as the unfolding Revolution.

Assassin's Creed 3 brings the Revolution to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 October 30th, Wii U November 18th, and PC November 20th. Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that five DLC releases will follow, including a new single-player campaign featuring a despotic George Washington. Check out Connor through history in the video above.
