God of War fans desperate to get their hands on a playable demo of Kratos' next adventure can do so starting this December, thanks to the Blu-ray release of the 2012 version of Total Recall.
Total Recall's home video release — the Director's Cut Blu-ray and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack, the PlayStation Blog specifies — will include the E3 2012 single-player demo of God of War: Ascension as an incentive to purchase the Len Wiseman-directed remake, which stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, and Kate Beckinsale.
The packaging for the Total Recall Blu-ray notes that the God of War: Ascension demo is exclusive to the Blu-ray until January 8th, 2013. After that, it's fairly reasonable to expect that Ascension's single-player demo will be made available to an audience wider than the people interested in owning a hard copy of Total Recall.
God of War: Ascension is slated for a March 12th, 2013 release on the PlayStation 3 in North America.
