Karateka comes to Xbox Live next week

Karateka is coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace a week earlier than expected, going on sale on Nov. 7 instead of Nov. 14 as Xbox.com had originally listed.

The remake of this classic side-scrolling, one-on-one fighting game by Jordan Mechner will be available for 800 Microsoft Points and features a very different art style to the original game thanks to artist Jeff Matsuda.

The Karateka remake is developed by Liquid Entertainment and published by D3Publisher. The PlayStation 3 and Wii U versions of the game are expected sometime in November.
