Diablo 3's in-game auction house has been taken offline by Blizzard Entertainment for "urgent maintenance," the developer says, citing "auction processing [and] payment delivery issues." Those issues apply to both the real-money auction house and the in-game gold-based auction house.
Blizzard posted the news to its forums and the news feed in the Diablo 3 client, alerting players to the unplanned five-hour maintenance window, which is expected to close at 9:30 p.m. PT.
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the payment and processing issues as quickly as we can," Blizzard community manager Lylirra wrote on the Diablo forums.
