Primal Carnage developers adding Get to the Chopper mode, more free DLC

Primal Carnage, Lukewarm Media's humans-versus-dinosaurs multiplayer shooter, will be receiving many free downloadable updates in the future, the studio announced today.

The first piece of content, which is scheduled to launch later this month, will add an objective-based mode called "Get to the Chopper" and a new map for that mode to Primal Carnage. In the Get to the Chopper mode, humans will be taking a linear path to a chopper waiting at an extraction point, but they'll be beset on all sides by dinosaurs attempting to take them out before they can make it there.

It is "the first of several additional game modes that will be offered absolutely free to our players," said Lukewarm Media founder Ashton Anderson.

The studio will also be releasing alternate skins; the first pack of them, which offers a new skin for each of Primal Carnage's five dinosaur classes, is due out later this month. You can check out images of them above.

Primal Carnage is now available on PC for $14.99 from a variety of digital distribution services.
