Carnage Racing now available on Facebook

Carnage Racing, the casual racing game from RuneScape publisher Jagex, launched today on Facebook.

The free-to-play title was made at Jagex's new California-based studio, which employs many former Midnight Club developers. Studio director Jay Panek said, "We wanted to take all our experience from the Midnight Club series and apply the same quality and gameplay benchmarks in a Facebook environment."

Carnage Racing is a multiplayer title that supports up to eight players in 13 distinct races set on a tropical island. Five cars are available to play, and players can soup them up with 50 different upgrades. The carnage comes from five upgradable weapons, and a time challenge mode offers asynchronous multiplayer gameplay.
