Just days before the launch of Nintendo's next generation console, YouTube has released a dedicated app for Wii through the Wii Shop Channel.
The YouTube app for Wii is available today in the U.S. and is expected to roll out to other countries in the "coming months," according to the official YouTube blog. The Wii YouTube app offers a variety of video channels, including gaming and music, and lets users sign in to their YouTube account to access subscriptions.
The app is a free download from the Wii Shop Channel and requires 117 "blocks" of Wii storage.
YouTube released similar dedicated apps for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita this summer.
