Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, the Wii U port of the action hack ‘n slash title, will release nationwide on Nov. 18 for the console's launch, Tecmo Koei America announced.
The Warriors Orochi series is best known for combining heroes from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. Hyper also includes exclusive characters from the Ninja Gaiden universe, in addition to a roundup of more than 130 options from Dead or Alive, Bladestorm and more.
In Hyper, players must travel through time to save old heroes and defeat the monstrous Hydra. The game will feature a main Story Mode, as well as a Free Mode to create battlefields, and a new Duel Mode for local and online multiplayer. As per the Wii U's capabilities, two people can play simultaneously, with one on the TV and one on the GamePad.
