Sir, You Are Being Hunted developers serve up more alpha gameplay footage

Sir, You Are Being Hunted developer Big Robot provided additional clips from the alpha version of the game today, as the game's Kickstarter drive headed into its final 12 days.

The studio cautioned that the footage includes placeholder assets and work-in-progress animations and AI. Lead designer James Carey narrates the clips, providing context and explaining elements like the procedurally generated village names such as "Lumble Clubbin." The video showcases Sir, You Are Being Hunted's stealth mechanics and wildlife systems, the latter of which unexpectedly backfires on Carey.

Big Robot refers to Sir, You Are Being Hunted as a "tweedpunk" survival sim. It is in development on PC, Mac and Linux for a planned release in July 2013. Kickstarter backers have already overfunded the pledge drive by 66.5 percent, with £66,594 in contributions for a goal of £40,000. Previous alpha footage is available here, and you can see some screenshots here.
