Ubisoft and S2 will bring games and tournaments to Dreamhack Winter, the world's largest computer festival set to take place in Jönköping, Sweden from Nov. 22 - 25, according to announcements from both companies.
Ubisoft will sponsor tournaments for three of its free-to-play titles: first-person shooters Ghost Recon: Online and ShootMania Storm as well as online card game Might & Magic: Duel of Champions. Winners of the Ghost Recon and Might & Magic tournaments will receive prizes from Razer.
S2 Games, developer of the multiplayer online battle arena game Heroes of Newerth, will hold the game's 2012 DreamHoN Winter Championships at Dreamhack. Ten teams will compete for the championship and their share of $60,000 in prizes. S2 will also be streaming the tournaments online.
Last week, Dreamhack, Major League Gaming and the Electronic Sports League announced a collaboration to unify eSports activities like the those above throughout the remaining 2012 and 2013 seasons.
