PixelJunk 1-6, the next title in Q-Games' PixelJunk series, will be a PC release, the developer announced in an FAQ on the game's website.
While each title in the PixelJunk series has been released to PlayStation 3 consoles since its debut in 2007, Q-Games only specifies a Steam release for the upcoming game. The studio states a console version may be in the cards if the game's launch on Steam proves successful and if demand for a console version warrants its development.
The four-player co-op title can designed to be played with a controller and will be compatible with Steam's Big Picture mode. The studio will also produce regular updates on its website every week. PixelJunk 1-6 has no release date as of yet.
