Action-survival space simulator Miner Wars 2081 will launch on PC on Dec. 1, developer Keen House Software announced late yesterday on the game's official website.
The beta build of the game has also been updated with an additional 31 missions and 100 space cities, along with and billions of newly-generated sectors to explore. Admission to the beta requires pre-ordering the complete Miner Wars 2081 game.
Miner Wars 2081 takes place in a post-apocalyptic Solar System 10 years after Earth's destruction. The surviving population, now planetless, is struggling to sustain itself in space for the long-term, sparking a war over the system's finite sources of oxygen, fuel and food. Players control mining ship in a destructible open-world environment, completing missions and competing for resources.
Miner Wars 2081 was recently added to Steam Greenlight.
