Telltale Games to expand studio size and headcount

Telltale is expanding

The studio behind The Walking Dead episodic video game series, Telltale Games, will move to an office double the size of its current studio that will allow it to accommodate up to 160 staff, the North Bay Business Journal reports.

The Northern Californian studio currently occupies an office near the Richmand-San Rafael Bridge and employs 125 people. Over the past two years the studio's workforce has doubled in size thanks to investment capital and the success of its Walking Dead game series. With the move to a bigger office space in San Rafael, it hopes to expand even further.

"We've maxed out where we're at," said Dan Connors, chief executive officer and co-founder. "Civic Center will give us room we need to grow our team and take on more projects on a yearly basis."

The move is scheduled to take place March-April 2013.
