Minecraft Reality brings virtual creations to the real world

An app that allows users to upload their Minecraft creations to a website and then place them in the real world where they can be viewed through a device's camera is now available for iOS devices on the iTunes App Store.

Minecraft Reality, developed by 13th Lab with permission from Minecraft studio Mojang, uses the iOS device's camera to track the surroundings before allowing the player to project their Minecraft creation onto the landscape.

The app has been developed for iOS devices but The Verge warns that it does not work very well on devices older than the iPod Touch 4G and "most functionality" isn't available on the iPhone 4. The app is available from the Itunes App Store for $1.99.
