Square Enix showed off the real-time visual capabilities of its next generation video game engine, Luminous Studio, at the Square Enix Open Conference in Japan this week, focusing on the technology's lighting and hair rendering. The demonstration, as captured by 4Gamer.net, plays with the Final Fantasy concept demo "Agni's Philosophy" in real-time.
The Japanese game maker revealed "Agni's Philosophy," a real-time tech demo based on its Final Fantasy franchise, during this year's E3 show. The demo was designed to promote Square Enix's "cutting edge game development technology" known as the Luminous Engine.
