Street Fighter 25th anniversary tournament European qualifiers begin today

Tournament qualifiers have been held since Oct. 31 for Paris Games Week

Street Fighter's 25th anniversary tournament continues in Europe as qualifiers take place today and tomorrow, streamable through TwitchTV.

Qualifiers have been held since Oct. 31 for Paris Games Week, France's own set of tournaments to determine who would enter the European qualifiers. Sixteen countries participated in matches across Europe as a precursor to this weekend's two-day event.

The first match begins at 9 a.m. local time, 4 a.m. ET; matches will run until 7 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 4, matches begin at 9 a.m. local and run until 6 p.m.

Capcom's Street Fighter 25th anniversary tournament began on July 28 in Austin, Texas. The tournament's top two fighters from the European qualifiers will compete in the Dec. 8 finals held in San Francisco. For the full match list, visit Capcom's Unity's website.
