Splinter Cell: Blacklist dev diary shows off Sam's non-lethal maneuvers

Splinter Cell: Blacklist offers protagonist Sam Fisher a wide assortment of options when it comes to taking out enemies without killing them, as seen in the developer's diary posted above.

Previous diaries from the game's creators have hinted at the copious amounts of animations Fisher will execute when carrying out his shadowy duties. Takedowns vary from situation to situation; Fisher may need to use the environment to incapacitate a patrolling guard, though his own two hands will suffice in a pinch. Of course, the game will likely give players much more violent options to consider, though that will have to wait for the next, assumedly much grislier developer diary.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in spring 2013.
