Nintendo has given Canadian Walmart stores the go-ahead to begin selling the Wii Mini today, one week ahead of its planned Dec. 7 launch, Engadget reports.
Walmart Canada said that any stores who have the console in stock already can start selling it today.
The Wii Mini is a slimmed-down, red-and-black version of the Wii that only plays Wii games — it cannot connect to the internet — and is currently set for release exclusively in Canada for $99. It comes with a red Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
