Harmonix Music Systems, developers of the Rock Band and Dance Central franchises, is among the top places to work in Boston, according to the results of a survey conducted by The Boston Globe and its research partner, WorkplaceDynamics.
Harmonix ranked 24 on a list of 40 midsize employers, defined as businesses with between 100 and 249 employees. Harmonix's survey listing pegs the developer's staff at 221.
The Boston Globe's 2012 Top Places to Work survey invited 1,586 employers to participate. In all, "304 organizations employing over 210,000 people" completed the processes, according to an article explaining the survey's methodology. The Top Places to Work survey asks employees to rank their employer confidentially according to six factors, including its direction, execution, connection with employees, management performance, work, as well as pay and benefits.
