PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Sony's upcoming fighting game staring a cast of notable PlayStation characters, will add fighters and levels through downloadable content, according to a French PlayStation Blog interview with Daniel Maniago, community manager at developer SuperBot Entertainment.
When asked if the developer would add to the game with DLC, Maniago said (via Google Translate), "Yes, there will be additional characters, as well as other forms of DLC levels".
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale began a public beta last month, testing its systems in advance of its Nov. 20 release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
