The Wii U re-release of Ninja Gaiden 3 comes dripping with screen-splattering gore, with severed limbs and heads a-flying. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge also comes with a newly playable character, kunoichi Ayane, who joins Ryu in an improved, enemy-slicing action adventure for the Wii U.
The launch trailer for Team Ninja's overhauled Ninja Gaiden 3 is heavy on making protagonist Ryu Hayabusa feel bad about the countless bad guys he's eviscerated, decapitated and exploded during his career, but might make Wii U owners feel good about picking up the launch title.
Ninja Gaiden 3 is dated for Nov. 18 in North America, the same day the Wii U launches.
