Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD coming in 'late December' to North American PS3s

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD, the upcoming PlayStation 3 remake of the original Xbox's cooperative platformer, is slated for a "late December" release in North America, according to an update posted today on Oddworld Inhabitants' website.

The downloadable game, which will cost $9.99 stateside, will release Dec. 19 in the European PlayStation Store.

Oddworld Inhabitants recently announced via Facebook that the PlayStation Vita version of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD will release on Dec. 18 in North America. Today's announcement revealed a European release date of Dec. 19 and set the price of the first-person shooter, released first in 2005 for the original Xbox, at $14.99. Stranger's Wrath is currently available for PlayStation 3 and added free support for PlayStation Move earlier this year.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty!, a 2.5D remake of the first Oddworld game, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, is set for release in summer 2013.
