Beenox founder leaves studio, two employees rise in the ranks

Dominique Brown, founder of Quebec-based developer Beenox, has left the studio "to pursue new personal challenges" and will be replaced by two longtime employees, according to a press release from the developer.

Technical director Sylvain Morel will supervise production and creative director Thomas Wilson will oversee creative operations in Brown's absence.

"Sylvain and Thomas have been invaluable partners for several years and their efforts have contributed greatly to the growth and success of Beenox," Brown said. "They have my full confidence and the company will be in very good hands."

Founded in 2000, the Activision-owned studio has produced games like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Guitar Hero Smash Hits.
