Sony's current-generation console is springing out of Amazon's Gold Box of daily deals today, with a $50 price cut to $249.99 on the 320 GB PlayStation 3 "slim" — the first redesign, not the top-loading 2012 model — that's bundled with a one-year subscription to PlayStation Plus.
That membership allows Sony to market the console as being bundled with digital versions of LittleBigPlanet 2, Infamous 2 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, since those full games are part of the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. For December, Sony added Batman: Arkham City, Limbo and Vanquish to the service.
A PlayStation Plus membership also offers subscribers greater discounts in the PlayStation Store, both when Sony is and isn't running sales.
