Dungeon Siege developer begins countdown to new game announcement

Gas Powered Games, the studio behind Dungeon Siege, Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation is working on a new project that it will announce in just under 27 days, according to a countdown clock on its website.

The countdown indicates that there are 26 days and 19 hours (as of the time of writing) until the big reveal. The game appears to go by the codename "Project W", as indicated by the subdomain, and may be related to the "Ready for something wild?" text on the website.

Gas Powered Games' most recent title was Age of Empires Online, which was released in 2011. We will publish more details as they become available.
