Sound Shapes developer Queasy Games says 'happy holidays' with free Holiday Sound Pack

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

Just in time for the holidays, Sound Shapes developer Queasy Games is augmenting the musical platformer's sound bank today with the free Holiday Sound Pack, which contains five new instruments.

The five sounds all come from classic Christmas carols, so players will be able to build levels that play holiday music. Sound Shapes is a community-driven experience, and the team at Queasy Games will check out created levels uploaded with #XMAS in the title.

Sound Shapes launched in August on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It is available for $14.99 through PlayStation Network on either platform with Cross Buy support.
